Our very good friends at The Krakower Studio finally got a space of their own! So it only made sense to return our beloved teachers Vance and Jessica back to their original home base at that studio.
We'll miss them and you can reach out to The Krakower Studio for more information on their classes.

About Vance:
In addition to his teaching at The Freeman Studio, Vance Barber has been associated with noted acting coach and teacher, Bob Krakower since 2012. Vance enjoys a noted reputation as an acting coach. His clients include many successful actors in film and television, who rely on him for their audition preparation. Vance teaches several ongoing acting classes throughout the city. In 2012, Vance started Let's Get Reel, an audition and edit studio he ran out of his guest room in Astoria. From 2013-2018, he was the head on-camera audition teacher at Stonestreet Studio, the Film and TV Conservatory of NYU's Tisch School Drama Department. You can read Vance's full bio here.
About the class:
Prerequisite of On-Camera Intensive is required (see below). Vance focuses on heightening your auditioning skills and acting technique by utilizing actual sides from recent Film & TV auditions. It gives actors a unique method for breaking down a scene, establishing relationships and using the frame of the camera in creating an environment within the scene. Each actor will work before the camera in every class & monitor playback will be utilized.
About Jessica:
In addition to being a core member of The Freeman Studio faculty, Jessica Cummings is a noted acting coach and teacher. Jessica is also an accomplished film and television actor, as well as a film producer. Her theatre credits include Broadway, Off-Broadway performances. Jessica has been associated with noted acting coach and teacher, Bob Krakower for the past six years. You can read Jessica's full bio here.
