The Freeman Studio was founded to serve working professional actors, as well as promising actors looking to develop their talents. Therefore, we do not offer classes for those pursuing acting as a hobby. Understandably, not all actors are continuously working. But is is important to the aesthetics and mission of the studio that our peer level be comprised of those ardently in pursuit of that goal. To be granted enrollment, an actor must have at least a basic foundation of training or a reliable and describable way of working.

 

Placement and Enrollment

For the Scene Study classes and some Workshops, each actor must arrange a New Actor Meeting. This is an opportunity for us to meet you and see your work for possible placement and enrollment. For some classes and workshops, enrollment is granted based on the actor's resume and experience and/or by references. This is done via online correspondence.

 

What do I need to prepare?

Please be prepared to present a monologue of your choice. This must be from published and/or produced material and approximately 2 minutes long.
